August 2015 was a great month for me. 2 birthday celebrations and my first ever contest win in Dubai!
I received a call from the radio station City 101.6 informing me that I had won one of their contests and received 2 movie invites for the premiere of "Manjhi the
Mountain man".
I went for the movie
screening with my husband. We got to meet and click a picture with the
lead actor Mr. Nawazuddin
Siddiqui who was present with the film's director Mr. Ketan Mehta. Mr. Siddiqui is an inspiration to me and many as he has struggled a lot to become an actor and made it big.
It’s
a good movie based on the real life story of Mr. Manjhi who pursued his dream of building a road through a huge mountain for the benefit of the local people.
The message is to carve your own path no matter how long it takes or how
difficult it is. If you have a dream, you have every right to pursue it though others may call you crazy.
Though you may not reap the fruits of your labor, others will benefit from it.
Just like you today are benefiting from the hard work and vision of many before you.
Thank you City 101.6.
